How fun are collaborations with friends, especially really really clever ones! It pushes us outside our comfort zone and the end result is always FUN. My spooktacular (see what I did there) friend Andrea is a Halloween and horror buff and, quite frankly, my life is so much better with her in it even if it is infinitely more scary now she has introduced Hannah to horror hahaha.
Andrea is the talented creative behind Hallozween – an online presence dedicated to all things spooky. She is building quite a cult following as Halloween in Australia continues to build momentum. Today she released her annual magazine of the same name.
I opted to have a bit of fun with my submission and offer up a tutorial for these cute headstone and ghost cushions – they are a really quick make and suitable for even the most beginner of sewers. You could even use the templates to make your own cardboard shapes and decorations – the sky is the limit.
Hallozween is on sale now and there is a password within the pages to allow you to unlock this content on my site. If you love Halloween then you will love this magazine, money well spent I promise.
And if you really want to spook life up a bit, don’t forget my free bat printable too – you don’t have to make it so pretty I promise.
Happy spooky sewing!
Sarah xx
